The inhabitants of the Philippines have not yet had basic hygiene standards, but that is already a thing of the past.
We built a brand new bathroom with toilet. We did in cooperation with the Mangold Foundation that operates directly there.
A nice surprise was also that one of the inhabitants gave birth to healthy twins. It will be much easier for her to take care of her children having this bathroom.
We cannot even imagine living without water in a house, but people adapt if situation forces them to do so.
In a place where it is not easy to find a good job (and it is not easy to commute to work at all), people appreciate every little thing. Therefore, the new bathroom is a big deal for them.
However, now all the so-called, Aitas, can enjoy better conditions.
